Nicholas Riddle Promoted To Peters Edition Group CEO

Nicholas Riddle has been promoted to Group CEO of international classical music publishing house Peters Edition.

The company, which has offices in New York, London, Frankfurt and Leipzig, has also undergone an internal restructure with its separate divisions having merged to form a unified company, entitled Edition Peters Group.

Riddle, who was formerly managing director of Peters Edition U.K., will remain based in London and will be responsible for overseeing the group?s international operations.

Other new appointments to the group?s management team include Hermann Eckel, who becomes managing director of the company?s German operations, replacing Bernd Walbaum, who joins the group?s board as a non-executive director. Prior to his appointment, Eckel worked as European trade sales manager at Oxford University Press.

Roger McClean retains his role as managing director of the company?s U.S. operations.

The company, which has over 70 employees worldwide and begun trading in 1800, will continue to operate offices in New York, London, Frankfurt and Leipzig.
